Message 1. Your asking about putting a after market body part on Saying your not sure on what to do and planing on painting the car your self. I'm painting mine right now. I'm not a painter but have worked with and have some experience with body work and paint. Your getting in over your head on this one unless your dad is a painter and your basically going to be doing the grunt work.

2. Number one rule of body work. Make sure you pre-fit any new body panels, before you have a nice paint job done and go working to get this piece put on and end up having to repaint due to not pre fitting.

3. You need the fenders on the car to fit this.

4. You may be able to save some time and head aches by using the factory hardware. Or as much of it as you can. I'm talking about the little metal brackets that are on the sides of the stock bumper. Those are there to make sure the bumper doesn't sag and create a gap between itself and the fender. Use them. If you can use the top bumper support that bolts to the car under the nose panel. I had a WW front end that it wasn't possible with. Its in the garbage now. The factory bumper foam should be usable. May have to shave it. If you don't later on your bumper will sag at the nose.

5. PRE FIT THAT THING. It will save you time and trouble down the road. Trust me.
