| Finally got a chance to complete the Z1 Big Brake Upgrade between rain and snow storms over the weekend. I know some of you had posted with concerns on the bolt depth in relation to the nut I had showed in one of the photo's. I contacted Josh @ Z1 and he had told me that there was no record of any of these kits failing at that connection. I installed the bolts correctly (factory caliper bolt attached with the supplied nuts to the spindle / relocation bracket and the supplied bolts through the bracket into the caliper). I torqued them to spec. and after 2-3 test drives, everything seems fine. Will re-check after some time. Brakes feel good, just a little soft peddle. I bled out the original fluid in lieu of the blue racing fluid they offered. Think I just need to bleed a little remaining air out. Other than that everything seemed to go well and the rears were much easier than the fronts. Re-painted the front calipers as I accidentally ground through the fluid channel of the right front caliper making clearance for the Baer rotors. Called the previous owner and ordered the kit from G2. A little hard to work with, needs to be "dabbed" more than "brushed" but the fumes help to pass the time. Josh shipped up a replacement and it made it here in about two days, ground! Also wanted to thank Charles at Powertrix for the front upper control arms and front tension rods. After installation: no more front wheel shake and very crisp steering response. Feels very nice. Thanks for those who pointed out the potential problem in the first post. Thanks for looking out.
