Subject	Windshield wiper mechanism

Message	Now that I have the cowl exposed, I was wondering if I should remove the winshield wipers motor and driving arms for general cleaning and lubrication. I am in the process of replacing the driver's side cowl cover and windshield trim (along the A-pillar). After 17 years the sun has done quite a number on these parts. The thing is that I cannot see what is actually in there and if the parts will accept lubrication. Any suggestions?
