Message I usually just position the jack stands, then lower the lift down on them to lift the front wheels etc.

It sometimes is bothersome because the rails of the lift are right underneath the tires suspension.

I used that type of lift for many years.. however, if you start working on alot of different cars often.. the 2post is alot easier.

Try dropping a rear end subframe with that type.. or even front.. I would rather do it on the ground.

They are great for just rotating tires, dropping trans,changing oil etc.
