Message	in converting the doors, i saw the SPL brace and saw it would solve the problem of how to secure the hinge while reinforcing the front end. Unfortunately, the SPL brace wasn't made with a door conversion in mind. Overall, it was very easy to fabricate. I used a MIG welder and square tubing with some 1/4" steel plate. Took me a couple of hours to weld up both sides. The both of them cost me about $50.
