Message This is a opportunity to weld in a piece of angle iron or 1inch square stock to span the opening to make a triangle...and save a whole bunch of money. One simply needs access to a welder, a 149$ flux welder is fine, a hacksaw, miter box, paint striping disc and 20$ worth of square or round tube. A welded in piece is far better than a bolt on, because the location where the fender brace bolts to the front support is thin and the bolt is small.

Consider having a friend who knows how to weld help out. Even an amateur welder can complete this task in 15min or less.

Bolted in spl fender braces are good, welded in spl fender braces are great, making your own and welding them in is an awsome way to get more granular with your passion.
