Message This was like 6 yrs ago and I wish I still remembered the sellers name..

I bought a set for my NA, set for my TT and a set for my Talon Tsi..

I paid $25 per rotor.. supposedly they were blanks that had the drilled holes cast into them, that he got machined/chamfered. I think I went through about 2 sets of Hawk HPS pads and 3 sets of metal matrix pads (on my TT).. Never even fazed them. Supposedly if the holes are cast into the blank.. it prevents them from cracking as easily. They never warped, so I had no reason to get them resurfaced.

I never even cracked them.. the prior ones I had before that which were actual brembo brand blanks that were drilled afterward and I had small fractures around each drilled hole.

Also, FWIW.. I will never (even on my DD) use anything but drilled or slotted rotors.. they just hardly ever warp.. even with "abuse"
