"Salvage" is not necessarily an indicator of structural damage, but more of an economic issue. Back when the 95's were still new, I came across a couple of early model z32's that had been vandalized and labeled "unrebuildable." They were structurally intact, with all glass broken, interiors shredded, light body damage, and some stolen parts. I remember thinking what a shame it was that they couldnt be titled in the US (this was in the mid-90's). They were slated for export to countries where the vehicle rules are different. Bottom line is that insurance companies decide upon the labels, which are not always a true reflection of condition.
