If thats what you meant, you should clarify. Our cars are at an age that some wont require a serious collision to warrant a "total loss" claim from an adjuster. I hit a deer in my first car. 75k miles on a ford tempo. Because it wasnt worth a shit, they totaled it. Only thing it needed was a bumper, grille and fender. Flood vehicles for instance. Perfectly fine if properly cleaned, electronics replaced, interior stripped and inspected. Recovered stolen - happened to my buddy. Someone stole his pizza delivery car while it was idling in the parking lot. Found it a few days later stripped of motor, wheels and brakes. Bought it back from insurance, replaced missing parts and stilll had 70% of the check left.
