| Another weekend, another timing belt job. Well this isn't helping things 
Neither is this. Appears someone broke the spout off the radiator. So they decided to try and fix it with a piece of pcv pipe. The even painted the edge where the hose wouln't cover to try and hide it. Didnt seal it too well as you could see where its been leaking down the fan shroud for awhile. Also they had to stretch the stock hose over it as well so it was pretty worn out. Lucky I had a near new radiator I was able to sell him and he picked up a new upper hose. 
Belts are trash 
This isn't good. It had some rub marks on it but looks like I caught it before it got damaged too much. 
Fan was trashed and ready to grenade. Has these cracks all the way around it. Again I had a near new one he had me install. Looks like we got some oil leaks. 
A while back he had an issue with his thermostat and I was too swamped to help him out so he took it to a Goodyear store. They changed the water pump and thermostat, of course with generic parts. Hmm, do we need to clean the old gasket material and/or rtv off? Nah, just throw some more rtv on it and call it good. You can actually see where the water pump has been leaking for awhile now. 
His Z has 112k on it so he had me do the whole 120k kit. 
This part fell to the groud when I was taking everything apart. I recoginized the shape but couldn't remember what it went to. Putting his new fan on and found it. It's off the fan clutch. Again, had a used one so he got that as well. 
Got it all back together, go to start it and it wont fire. I figured since i messed with his ptu that might be the issue. Hmm, good guess. 
Got that cleaned up and put back together and it fired right up. I always check the spark plugs out of habbit now due to finding so many Z's with the wrong ones installed. Sure enough he had NA plugs. He ordered some new TT plugs and I put those in. His on the right, old TT one I had on the left.
 He had me change his oil as well. All back together and running great.
