Message Yea the ARP are nice.. specially because they have a built in flange on the head of the washer.. atleast a deep well socket wont go all the way down on them!

I personally don't like using much SS on hard to reach spots (fuel rail, injector caps etc).. because the usual metal are 300 series (302, 304, 316, 321 etc) are not fully magnetic, some not at all.. And they are a PITA if you drop one down someplace. Where a magnet would usually make it a quick "whoops".

I did a timing belt job on my Tsi Talon before and had to remove the timing covers (PITA on that engine) because I dropped a SS bolt down in there and was not magnetic to retrieve it.
