I was originally, going to source out new bearings/seals to make it as slim as possible, but this is also my very first venture into solidworks and CNC machining, so I'm currently sticking with the stock hardware to ease with designing. This is just version #1, I hope to make just a few of these and get them to some people who will play with em and get me some feedback for latter versions. Ultimately I would just like to be able to sell the design/code for a meager some since I'm not set-up for any type of large production runs. As far as the design goes, I'm staying with the solid one-piece housing with pressed in bearings as opposed to Z1's 3 piece design. It will be a bit more difficult to assemble/maintain my units, but I also think it will eliminate some leaks (older Z1 throttle bodies leaked boost. All-in-all though, I'm not concerned with actually making a profit on these, I would just feel honored if I actually came up with a quality part for this community. :)
