Message A few months ago, I polished my upper plenum, installed new fuel injectors, PCV valves, hoses, and other misc stuffs.

Car ran OK but was always idle hunting, so I bought a boost leak detector from Chris at boost pro, and found this nice little leak from over-tightening the PCV valve:

Well that sucked, but I work full-time and am a full-time student so a relatively quick plenum pull can take a little while to do with such little free time. Especially since I during all this, I bought my first house and didn't want to tear down the car when I could be moving again in short notice (New home for Zed!!!)

So I bought a new used plenum from John(MD) and had it powder coated metallic silver

But then (Darn my luck!) Girlfriend treated me to a few laps in a Ferrari F430 in:

Sadly though, since purchasing my ride in the F430, Exotic Racing aquired the brand new 458 and we had to spend a few more dollars so I could drive this!

Awesome trip, but that ate up my spring break time to work on the Zed (also, the Ferrari probably ruined me for all time on all other cars(That thing is AMAZING, believe the hype!)) but I took an extra day off work, so I could get a little work done:

The new garage comes with parts storage to help keep me organized!

New SS hardware from Fastenal (thanks to BigTDogg for the write up)

And that leaves today: I knowingly bought a pre-'94 plenum thinking the only difference was the bolt holes for the throttle spring covers, but the EGR tubes do not line up with the earlier style plenum, I'm a bit antsy to have my car back after being down so long so I was thinking of trying the JB-Weld in the tube method found here: http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=1332219&forum=general&dtSearch=0 ]">clicky until I can delete the system properly with an engine removal, but I wanted some last minute feedback before I started.

Also somewhere along the lines in school, I started an extra-ciricular project to design a new throttle body and here is what I've come up with so far:

It's been a while since I've had time to work on it, and I now the vac tube needs to be moved a little, but I think I'm pretty close to cutting my first proto-type.

Well, that's what I've been up to lately, thanks for reading.
