| oils filter.. since that will do the majority of the work. This inline filter will be before the restrictor (if present). This will just insure that no fragments etc get into the turbo itself. The filter I plan on using has a decently large filtration surface area and should not clog up if serviced properly. I have emailed one inline oil filter company that incorporates a bypass setup but I am unsure of the cost. Most that have the bypass are units designed off the oil filter tree which actually replaces the stock one. However; the one I requested information from in a true inline one that is designed to "collapse" if it becomes clogged which lets oil still reach the turbo if it gets that bad. It should never get to that point. The amount of money we put into these cars, I dont see servicing the filter regularly (primarily after a motor build/machine work would be a problem.
