as you say, you have to unbolt, add shims, re-tighten, maybe a few times. To me, that's not "adjustable" like an adjustable arm is. Secondly, my comment that lowering the car now, while it needs work is appropriate. Why take it apart, for whatever means of adjustment you desire, then pay a shop to allign, then do it all again when you lower it?
