First of all, what the heck is a "non-adjustable kit"? Either you slide in some shims or you get adjustable arms. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about this, but I dont know of any other ways to make the adjustment. The shims must be done at time of alignment, so its really not a "kit" you can install beforehand. Secondly, what does changing the arms have to do with lowering it? To lower it you need to take the shocks out, and either disassemble them and replace the springs, cut the springs (not recommended), or replace the whole assembly with adjustables/coilovers.
