Message We finally got the pictures taken and have some initial readings from our new radiator.

First, the specs. It is a 24X19 Howe Aluminum radiator built for the ZTT with a manual tranny. It utilizes a two core design so your cooling area has doubled from the stock unit.

This is NOT the Mustang radiator with repositioned inlets. This is a custom radiator specifically built to drop right into the Z without any major modifications.

We have had posts incorporated into the bottom of the tanks so the STOCK bottom mounting brackets can be used.

Both the inlet and outlets are welded at the correct angles so you can utilize your stock hoses with a little trimming.

We also have had mounts added so you can reuse your shroud. It will have to be trimmed a little to compensate for the thickness of the radiator but it should not be a big deal.

The top brackets can be reused with slight modification as well. We have yet to use them though because the bottom mounts along with the top hose holds the radiator tightly into place.

The radiators can be ordered with or without a drain or an NPT fitting for an external temperature gauge. The one pictured has both a drain and a temp sensor hole.

Pricing will be roughly $350, maybe even less, and this WILL include shipping within the continental US.

Since we received the radiator, air temps here in Vegas have been in the 110's with the highest air temp reaching 115.

Even with these extreme temps, we only managed to get one of our Z's up to 215. That reading came from a techtom and we did not have the shroud or the bottom pan on the car.

Keep in mind, 110 degree weather is brutal. With a stock radiator, I cannot keep my car from overheating, even on the interstate at constant non-boosting speeds.

Just think about how good this thing will perform in normal air temperature ranges.

Take a look at the pics and let me know what you think. I can be reached via e-mail at gotboost@lvcm.com

Feel free to shoot me questions.

NA AND AUTO TRANNY GUYS -> we will be working on a unit for you as soon as we have time. Pricing should be pretty similiar to the TT unit above.

On to the pics...

Here is a view from the front

Here is a shot of the inlet. Notice the small square block for mounting the shroud. The second hole is for an aftermarket temperature gauge. (Optional)

Here is the outlet

Here is a close-up of the welds and the shroud mount.

Here is one of the bottom mounting posts.

A pic of the inside of ONE of the rows. Look at the size of those tubes!

Let me know what you think.

We will solidify the price and post in the classifieds soon. These can usually be turned around in a day or two and will be shipped two day so you are looking at less than a week for delivery time.

Cheers,

aj and partner in crime Aaron(wildstar on tt.net).
