I was/am in the same position as you. 2 years ago, I could say that I was paying my way through college, while living quite comfortably. However, after I purchased my Z, all that has changed, and I am now a broke and cheap student who is struggling to make ends meet. However, all that being said, although I have very little funds at the moment, I am extremely happy, and I refuse to get rid of my Z (unless someone pays me triple the amount I initially bought it for). I worked way too hard to get to where I am right now, and the Z is too much of a beautiful car to let go of. Thankfully, I just scored an internship at a really good company for the summer, so I will be making enough to support myself for the following years to come. Although I do not really agree with the decision you made, I hope that you are happy. I know if I let go of my Z for a Miata, I would regret that eternally because in my opinion, the Z >>> the miata. Good luck nonetheless, and I hope that you will be in the position to buy another Z in the future.
