Message I have been meaning to post this forever now.

Here are my custom machined GT28RS T04B compressor housings..

Originally, they have a 3" inlet, with a sharp angle that meets the compressor wheel.. Some companies modify them with a 2-bolt flange.. but the sharp step is still there. This would create turbulence.

Here is how they would normally look in standard GT28RS setup.

Here is what I got.. Notice how well he packages stuff as well. (please ignore the dates)

These housings have a smooth conical taper of <7*..

Now onto the INLET pipes..

These were also custom, they do not have the 2-bolt flange.. as they also have a conical taper. This uses a shortened silicone coupler to butt connect the INLETS and compressor housings. There is NO step, it just slowly merges to the taper of the compressor housings inlet.. Complete disrupted flow.

Mike also honed the inside for a super smooth surface.. Just take a look how smooth the transisitons are.. Talk about smooth flow.

Notice the small notch he made in the compressor housings for the main body of the clamp.. Attention to Detail is definitely his thing.

The induction piping.. that connect to these.. NO, I will not be using stock. I am custom making mine from some mandrel bent tubing sections..

My induction piping does not use any of the "under headlight/across front end"

I have dual MAFs, one under each headlight.

And incase anyone ever wondered what the internals of the FORGE (blue) actuators looked like.. I took some pics..

As for the INLET pipes and Compressor housings.. I talked to Mike Smith about it and he said he never wanted to do another set.

There is a member on TT.net that helped me get this done.. I will not mention his name because I am pretty sure he doesn't want the flood of emails as well. If he wants to be singled out.. I will let him do it..
