Message	but the last two smog inspections I had ( in california) the tech spent quite some time looking for my egr. The first one came out and told me " i cant find your egr". I showed him. This year, the tech put the car up on a hoist and was looking from below. I finally went over and offered some help. SO go ahead, take it off. your Nox readings will go up and maybe you'll fail the visual inspection as well.
