| I do not recommend this for a street driven car, but there are a couple maintenance benefits to the track rats: 1) If you have adjustable cams, it makes dealing with them simple (although access ports can be cut into the covers for this). 2) The time saver for me on Z-Lab has been not having the upper timing pulley captured by the *back* covers allowed me to get the lower intake off w/o having to rip off the whole front of the engine to do so.
