I've got a cracked CE28. Leave it to me to ruin 2 sets of Rays/ Volks wheels, but have the VMRs on my car in perfect condition. Ironic isn't it, lol. My previous set of Nismos had a bent pair due to a pothole at the track, before I swapped them out when I sold them. And now this. Anyways, check it out.
Small crack on the rear barrel. Probably from dirt droping at the track while drifting. Went to pick up wheels from the powdercoaters and they didn't even touch it since it was cracked. Didn't even notice it. Good thing Volks are the way they are, or else this would have been catastrophic. It didn't leak or anything. Ah well, it's getting repaired tomorrow and then off to the coaters to get it finished. Can't say I'm surprised or disappointed in the wheels. They see a good amount of abuse on the street and track, so it was only a matter of time. I do however, have the other 3 wheels in my possession :) Took of my CE28s since I was really bored of the satin silver (Titanium Silver) that the wheels come in. They were nice, but they didn't pop like my old Panasports did. The fix? A fresh coat of paint.

Got them done in a pearlescent white. Just waiting on one more goodie for them, and for the last wheel to be repaired so I can get it powdercoated as well. Ahhh, I hate waiting when I have 3 of the 4 wheels already in my possession, lmao.
