| On a 1996 - it is very unlikely that he has much corrorsion @ nearly any of the connectors. Only the IAC/AAC and MAF have the old style connectors on them. All the rest is updated injectors, ptu (no subharness), CAS etc all have double sealed connectors. 1996 cars don't have VTC. Nissan does NOT list age as a factor on the timing belt. FSM says NA 105K, TT 60K Either way @ it's over due on his car. Technically the lines don't often leak - it's the clamps becoming lose w. age - if he's going to check anything he should start by tightening the clamps. Just looking at the lines isn't likely to reveal much to him. Injectors in a 96 NA - new style and have switch 12v injector circuit. I wouldn't be too worried about them.
