Even tho I have the 3" Test Pipes and Downpipes, the car is seriously still quiet and about the same a stock car would sound with the stock cat back..
Reason I am asking these picky questions is because I just want to know for sure I want a cat-back before I spend a G.. If its going to be too loud for my taste then I might not even upgrade to a cat-back.I might even do it slowly and just upgrade the H-Pipe to 2.5" Large Resonated, but I don't think that will make a sound difference at all, will it? It's apparent that the stock mufflers is quieting down the entire exhaust system. So yea, I am just looking for some dB statistics between the SZ Oval tip vs Dual Tip, and Large Resonated H-Pipe vs Small Resonated X-Pipe, and finally stock cat-back vs Oval tip / large resonated H-Pipes. Additionally, if anyone has a set up like the one I mentioned in my original post, it would be extremely helpful if he or she would be so kind to post a recording. I suppose I am having a hard time making up my mind. Knowing some facts and hopefully hearing a set up like my own would help me out tremendously. I guess that is a bit of a long shot but worth trying.
