Message But the previous dyno chart was done at 18psi so I actually "turned it down" for these two pulls.

With the piston design and the lower compression ratio I built the engine to, I can actually run about 21psi on pumpfuel and put down 600RWHP without detonation. It is at the ragged edge like that though - 22psi will start to produce detonation. With all the time and money I have invested into this car it just isn't worth it to push it that hard all the time. 19psi works very well for the upper gears where the tires will actually hold it. I've got the blitz SBC-iColor setup with the speed map and run only base boost of 14psi for 1st, 2nd, and part of 3rd gear. Then I up the boost to 19psi around 5500RPM in 3rd gear. Even still, at 14psi it will put down 520RWHP. Need better tires.
