Message In me says engine speed is not the issue. If it's fully clamped, you can run it out to redline, with the valvetrain and balance of your engine being the gaiting factor. It's the load, and the speed of engagement (slipping).

Dumping the clutch at 6K RPM when it's brand new will end badly, I can tell you that for a fact.

Rolling around at 6K RPM in first gear from stoplight to stoplight with the cluch fully engaged will do no harm except sounding like a ricer Honda.

I drive like an intelligent human does on public streets for the first 300 miles or so, trying to select routes which require the most shifting. Because it's the clutch actuation which spreads the material out. 300 miles broken down to 250 highway and 50 city does you no good, unless it's bumper to bumper traffic on the highway.

Do you not bed in your brakes either?
