| I have seen people build many race cars and take it straight to the track for TnT on a brand new clutch My friends recently did this on a turbo ls1 900HP and ran 10s on a brand new clutch. JayT got an SZ clutch and SZ flywheel. The surfaces are designed for eachother in a performance sense. I wouldnt want my clutch surfaces wearing in and accomodating only the low stress environments for the first parts of its life. It is more important to heat cycle and open it up to the full operational range. IMO!!
