Message Well, I haven't been on "the" site in a loooong time...too long. We had another beautiful baby girl (Sydney Grace Hawkins - 4 weeks old now). I'm officially outnumbered in my house 3 to 1, but my wife assures me that I can have my dream garage & racecar hobby...and then sell it all to pay for two weddings! So I figure I've got some time to accumulate as much as I can over the next 20 years or so. My Z was backed into a while back...while it was sitting at the gas pump. You can image my dismay when an elderly woman walked into the station and said, "who owns that nice white Z outside? Oh, sweetie, someone in a suburban just backed into it, I'm sorry." The passenger side door and quarter were demolished...Long story short, I had everything repaired (new quarter, door straightened, and paint) and while I was at it, I removed the Stillen rear valance and returned the back end to stock glory...looks amazing...hmmm, I guess I don't have any picks of the Z since then...I'll have to fix that.

I've been off work for the last month for the baby, and I've had my hands full with all the girls...and the honey-do list, but I finally got around to treating my garage floor to a nice epoxy finish...let me just say that the prep work was painful...but the end result was well worth it. Now my Z has a worthy place so sit :-)

Also, I had quite a bit of body work done on the 510...as well as a dandy of a paintjob. I had it shot with factory Acura NSX silver (the gunmetal looking color - can't remember what its called). I had them add a purple pearl to the base coat in an effort to resemble some of the Aston Martin colors I've lusted over. Keep in mind, I'm still waiting on the widebody quarters to be fabbed (being hand rolled out of aluminum), and the car hasn't been cut&polished yet, but here are a few crappy cell phone picks I took recently :-) Sorry they're small
