Message customer service on LG's part.

First repair was fine. Didn't have it but a few months before it broke. Called, got label to send out for repair. Took like 4 weeks, got back, worked for 2 weeks.

Called when it broke again, of course it was now out of the original warranty period, but luckily they gave me a new 90 day warranty when they repaired it. Call, they tell me they will send labels. 2 weeks go by, no labels. I call again. Sending labels. Week passes, no labels. Call again, *finally* get a manager to tell me repair was turned down because it was out of the original warranty. "OK...but you guys gave me a new warranty and it's doing the EXACT same thing as it was the first time. You did not fix it." Got labels, sent it in, 4 weeks later, got it back. Still didn't work.

Called right away. They said will send labels. Few days go by, "will send labels." Few more days, they tell me they will email labels right now. I wait on phone. "Oh...it says they won't because you're out of warranty." "Uh, I just got it back from repair for the same issue - it never worked when I got it back." After about 2 hours of back and forth, saying that I was about to buy a 23" LG monitor but won't now, I got labels emailed to me. Sent in, got it back in 3 weeks this time, said it now has a fresh 1 year warranty (of course by this time I saw a ton of complaints on this model on the internet).

Had it for about 3 months, dead again. Called, got labels mailed in a few days, sent back in, got back fairly quickly. It's been almost a year since I got it back that last time, and all has been well, but the hell I will ever buy an LG product again. Which is a shame since their stuff is usually nice looking. But I love my current Samsung 42", so wifey is getting me a 55" Samsung LED for my b-day in a few weeks. w00t
