Message	control. You can use it to really shallow stage. Break the stage light, then just back out a pinch. Lock it up and 'push' or 'scoot' it in till the light flickers on. We used them on automatic cars to stage so shallow that you had to be powerbraked up to break the beam :-) It may be all mental, but you feel like you can leave a pinch earlier w/o redlight risk. And it does have a coolness factor on the street. If nothing else, just to scare the bejeebers out of 4 bangers.
