These arent the types of cars that were designed to just be neglected to the point of bad rings, bad injectors, etc etc. Of course you dont want to DD your TT, that makes perfect sense, but buying a $500 NA (unless it is a cherry/gift, which it doesn't sound like yours is) is a bad choice. But go right ahead with it, enjoy your headache and finding yourself back driving your TT all over again. Me? If I'm going to drive a ragged POS, it wont be a Z32. I'll stick with cars designed to not be maintained.
