You could easily double or triple the money you bought the car for, but it is a lot of work. To be able to maximize your profit you'll have to remove and sell suspension components which will leave the car immobile, which makes it way more difficult to take to the scrap yard when you're done. However, if it's just injectors, buy some used and throw em in! DD it, or turn around and sell it for a small profit(honest sale though because I know you said it has low compression). I parted out my 90TT and got about $1500, and I still have the NA subframe, pass. fender, dash, and a few other interior parts. 1500 was not including selling the motor or trans. I bought a CLEAN 94 NA and converted it using the 90TT motor :). Pretty much broke even on the deal!
