The upper is not available except for the one Z1 sells. For the shifters I make I use new lower seals when they are needed, the uppers I clean up and reuse as long as they are mostly there and not missing a bunch of the center section. If the middle is torn it still is fine. The center plastic center pivot collar can also be cleaned up, regreased and reused. If you break it removing it, you can still reuse it but I usually grab another solid one out my box of shifter parts if I have one.
