| Not sure of the DIY cost for all of that, but let me point out a couple things that might not be obvious: 1. that bag is deeper and has a lot of hardware in it than the photo shows, I threw in the turbo oil block (multiples because I had them), the T belt washers, 300D pulley spacers, all sorts of hardware that was steel/iron and needed to be replated. 2. the $70 is a lot charge, I could have dumped 3x the hardware in the box and not been charged more. 3. It's professionally done to specs & longevity is one less thing to worry about. Some of the DIY plating kits just don't get it done. Particularly when it comes to prep. The negative for this is the documentation. I forgot to mention that I photo'ed everything AND took measurements w/ descriptions that I put in a spreadsheet so I could sort it out later. I've always envied the Japanese Skyline book where they went fastener by fastener through the car photo & dim documenting everything... down to the types of plastic clips in whatever locations. I'd love to do something like that for the Z32 since people are using the word 'restore' with this thing now. Big plus for DIY regardless of cost : Do it at your own pace as needed, so you don't necessarily have to document everything before it goes into 1 bag.
