Bottom line they offered $4000. I know this is a low-ball offer because that is what Carmax does, but a majority of our cars just aren't bringing much these days....so realize you won't get near what you might put into these cars dollar-wise when its time to sell them. Clean TTs are only bringing between $5000 and $7000 on ebay...unless they have really low miles or are like-new clean. So, I drove the car home to consider my options. I put it in the classifieds, but this post is just a service message to let people know what Carmax is paying for good running TTs nowadays.
