limited ONLY to the outer cylinder and the inner shaft. The bearing, which is the critical part of the idler assemblies, are replaced with new OEM grade bearings. There is absolutely nothing wrong structurally with using used components as long as the bearing is exchanged. We have chosen to have these components Yellow Zinc coated due to the fact that they are steel and are very prone to rusting over time. We have a strict policy in effect for rejecting/accepting idler pulley components. Only those who are accepted are then cleaned, coated and reassembled.
