Message	Because you're not going to really hear the pipes until the back has gone past. Until the pipes face forward, the BS flag will still wave. :-) I used to drive a silver 280-ZX and had countless near-misses. I installed a set of fog lights and the near-misses went away. Same principle, but I believe the difference is that I - knowingly or not - drove more defensively. I suspect the same would be true in your case as well.
