With another, 20 hours is a conservative estimate. If the shop works 12 hour days, this is a lil more than a day and a half. Is it a shop or a one man operation? For a one man deal that's fair. For an actual shop, that's a little long. Your post is rather vague, but the new engine (assuming used, and not actually brand new from Nissan) can be prepped with seals, gaskets and a 120K kit by one person while the second focuses on removing the old engine. If that were the case, one 12 hour day should be sufficent. Planning the pull/swap/and reinstall is the biggest thing. Have all your ducks in a row, and everything should go smoothly. Engine out of the car, it's the best time to do the clutch, flywheel, EGR delete, EFI harness etc etc etc. Pulling the engine out is, as earlier stated, rather easy, especially with a new EFI harness. The tougher part is getting it back in. Yes, I have pulled more than one engine. No, the cars didn't have any rust. Yes, my e-balls are gigantic, as I use a shopping cart to get from the parking lot to my office.
