HUGE "Thank you" goes out to my buddy Shawn(Kong300gt700asianloverzx) and his asian possy :) Cliff notes: Overheating issue started 1-2 yrs ago. I replaced the burnt fuse for the efan- still overheated, replaced the efan with an Spal efan- still overheating, rewired efan-still overheats, changed thermostat-still overheats, replaced water pump-still overheats, replaced efan with 1 of 2 stock Oem fans in my garage-it still overheated. I got enraged, threw many wrenchs thinking it was the head gasket and cried for the last 2 yrs on here and to anyone who would listen ... Forward 2 wks ago: Shawn comes up just to verify it is the head gasket. We start going through the car and I am looking at the engine from the front, he is looking from the side and notices the oem fan is not spinning exactly right. It spins and all but it is spinning not exactly straight. I am thinking I have replaced this fan 3 times, no way its the f'in fan. Long story short, replaced the oem fan with another one in my garage. The upper rad hose was tight against the hard pipes and was def restricting some flow also...Fixed both issues and no more overheating although I have a little leak underneath I have to attend to... Thanks again Shawn. I owe you one, or two, or three... Ps: Boosting in 30 deg again is delightful...
