As I'm sure most of you know I found a broken front swaybar while installing coilovers a month or so ago. The sway bar was a gift purchased from ultimateZ back in 2003. After exchanging emails with stillen customer service they claimed that my swaybar, being hollow was a knockoff. I even spoke with kyle millen who after faxing the ultimate Z invoice said it was infact a knock off. That led me to contacting Chris at ultimateZ, Who needless to say was kinda pissed. A few hours after contacting Chris, I got a call back from him stating that a new swaybar was on the way. When the new one came in I went to the scales. Both the old and new came in at the same weight, the end of the bar had a seam making it obvious it was hollow. So I called back Stillen asking for Steve Millen, after being told that steve doesn't normally take calls from customers I got Kyle Millen again. He fessed up that the front bars are hollow and the rears are solid. I asked that they change their description of the bars and get a discount on some rotors for my AP kit, which he said he would do. All in all I got what I wanted. A new sway bar. Just wanted to let everybody know what happened and give a huge thanks to Chris at Ultimatez as without him I don't think anything would have happened.
Good people drink good beer.
