Message :A inconel turbo wrap would do too well of a job, and that ceramic coating hold enough heat in the manifold to provide a high and low pressure gradient across the turbine, but also allow enough heat to dissipate through the manifold VIA radiation to disallow heat destroying the CHRA and possibly heads...

Your manifold will undoubtedly run hotter the more it is insulated. I don't know the specifics of the insulation you have on hand, so I'm just stating it is a risk. Water cooled turbos help mitigate this risk.

:I figured that leaving the DP exposed, perhaps even applying thermal dispersant, would aid in getting the heat out as quickly as possible and take advantage of faster spooling. What do you feel about that?

The thermal dispersant will increase the effectiveness of the DP acting as a "fin" to the manifold/turbine housing heatsink.
:Would you recommend heat wrapping the manifold if ceramic coating was not available? I'm sitting on some DEI titanium wrap...
