Message	cost, fab, and space. all HAVE been done b4, but if u can get 500+hp out of a cheap and common 2.0 liter (in japan, and getting more and more common in the US) and have a much lighter car, that makes up for a few extra LBS and the added HP that is needed to get that heavy beast rolling. and u are able to keep a stock look. no big nasty bubbled hood.
