Mike Smith is a stand up guy. He should run for president. :I guess I'm to new to the business side of things to only think of it a business, I still have my ethics and morals intact. I have never and will never purchase someone else work and duplicate it or have it duplicated, even though I have been asked to do just that in the past, its just not my style. I'm not advocating you dupe someone else's work. However, in the case of piping...the starting and ending points are the same, as are all the other design constraints, no matter who makes them. Not designing and marketing your own pipes because someone else beat you to the punch is silly and naive, IMHO. Don't sell yourself short...you've got mad skills. If you want to make some money with your skills, products already on the market shouldn't be a deterrent. Make it better and/or cheaper and you win (as do your customers). It is good to have ethics and morals, but they are not mutually exclusive with competitiveness.
