I would tighten it, the rattle would be gone and then over a few drives it would loosen again. The nut was the locking Z1 nut that came with the premium short throw shifter. Josh@Z1, was this a one time use nut? In any case, Joe at ZSpeedPerformance (spddracer) is sending me his lock nut at no charge. I would like to say, the Z1 premium short throw shifter and the ZSpeedPerformance solid shift mount are both great products and make shifting 10 times better than stock. Just be sure to use a new lock nut before you install!
