Message	a Dremel at slow speed for clearing off hard coatings without wrecking the metal surface underneath. Why wait 4 weeks? They're sending you another one or something? Why so long? If it were me, I wouldn't wait 4 weeks to replace someone else's mess up, and I wouldn't dick around with fixing something that I bought brand new unless I knew it had to be fixed going into the purchase. If I knew I had to fix it going into the purchase, I would make sure the price reflects that. Get a proper replacement ASAP and if they can't do that on your schedule, get a full refund.
