Message Hey Guys,

Just wanted to jump in here and introduce myself. My name is Kyle Millen. I work here at STILLEN and have been informed of this thread. One of my jobs here is to work with the enthusiast communities and online forums.

This topic was brought to my attention as we are concerned about it. Steve has been involved in this matter as he knows about each one of our products and is directly involved in the R&D, testing, and production of all of our products here at STILLEN.

The reason we are asking the customer for more information such as an invoice or receipt from the shop who sold it to him is because we have never made our sway bar like the owner describes. Our bars for the 300Z's have always been solid. Also, we showed the pictures that the owner of the bar emailed us to the head of our service department who has been with us for 16 years and he has also confirmed that the bar in question, does not appear to be our bar.

Unfortunately being the leader of an industry opens us up to knock-offs and I can't tell you how many times we've seen parts being sold online listed as "like STILLEN." For example we had one unlucky customer purchase a set of Z32 intercoolers that, from a small thumbnail picture on Ebay, looked very similar to ours. However, upon his receipt of the intercoolers he could clearly see that they were not a genuine STILLEN product. It is very unfortunate and something that we battle every day. If the OP can provide us with an invoice from the shop the bar was purchased through, we will definitely go to them on your behalf and try to get a refund/replacement. This bar was definitely not a genuine STILLEN sway bar and we want to make sure that anything carrying the STILLEN name is of course a genuine product. Any company using the STILLEN name to sell a knock-off product will be contacted.
