As I mentioned, I have been adjusting the timing in the lower ranges using Nistune on ConVerTT 2.0. After this conversation, I think I might change approach and retard it more substantially (whatever that means - lol) and see what happens with the spool up. Tell me what you think of this approach. 2.0 is fitted with dual EGTs at the turbo inlets so in theory I should be able to retard the timing incrementally until I get the maximum EGT which should correspond to the maximum exhaust energy flowing into the turbo.
