Message I sent Jim Wolf the injectors prior to programming and got an all clear from him, my tuner, Jim wolf tech knew what injectors I was using. He also reported to me that, there was a past history of problems just like I had with some of the cars the DW had been put into, hence he encouraged me to send them to him to be checked out. The problem like I had, per feedback on this site, and feedback from JWT seems to be hit and miss. Even Brett stated that he had put some in that worked. In my research I found no mention of a custom tune (beyond adjusting for the size) being needed. DW does not mention how to tune for their product. If I was to place a product into a market with an established competitor, like Nismo, and I had a known difference needed in the setup I would state it and state how to deal with it, for everyone blaming the tune, tell me what the "right" adjustments are, for certain, for the DW injectors. No where have I found a statement that says "be sure to set X to Y value to make these work." If it is that each set of injectors are different then there is a quality control issue. It would also seem to me that if there was a known difference then a big time tuner like JWT, whom I sent the injectors to should know about it.
