Message	the 6062 will geberate very little, if any boost below 4000 RPM. Again, it depends on your goals. If you want to make mad power and don't mind some lag, the 6062 will be fine. Surge can be caused by any number of things, such as a compressor that is too big or restrictions to flow anywhere downstream of the compressor. Surge can also be caused by poorly flowing heads or as Machtavian pointed out a restrictive hot side
