Message I (actually Guapo) will be doing this on my 93TT soon ...Nismo 740s with 300 Degree rails.

I haven't had a chance to ask him about the details, but this thread made me more curious.

Questions:

1) Are you referring to the "switched power injector" posts in the Auto-FAQs?

2) I've noticed there are several separate posts regarding this topic with lots of disclaimers and back-and-forth discussion from other members. Is there a consensus on the "preferred" method of doing this "switched power" mod?

3) Is it necessary?

4) Has it been determined to actually improve new-style (say, Nismo 740) fuel injector life?

5) Is is known to be "safe" for the vehicle (electrical and other engine systems)?

6) My understanding is I will just be using late-style pigtails ..should I get a '95 harness instead? ..I assume not since we didn't order one and I trust his judgement.

7) What, if any, other benefits would a '95 harness provide? ..say, if I added it later.

Thanks in advance.

- G.
